Save the Wave Events
We have held a number of events to help support our Save the Wave campaign. By
attending our events you can help the fight against the City of Surrey's unreasonable refusal to let
us use the pool. You can contribute just by being a member of the Skinnydipper Recreation Club and
attending our regular events. We have details of our special fund-raising events below. Even though we have won the court fight, there is still more to do and we are accumulating legal expenses. We will still need your continuing support.
September Pub Night
Where: The Fire Fighters' Club in Burnaby
When: September 15, 2007 from 6pm to 1am
What: Dinner and Dancing
Details: We have reserved space for 90 in this great facility. The evening starts
with a social hour from 6pm to 7pm followed immediately by a delicious buffet dinner. Dinner will be:
Caesar Salad, Herb Chicken, Roast Beef, Roast Potatoes, Vegetable Medley and assorted buns. At 9pm you can dance to the music of
YVR, a 60's style rock band.
Tickets: $20 per person

4) If we are able to have a swim at Renfrew Pool on September 8th (uncertain due to current civic strike) then we will have tickets available at our desk during the swim.
For all orders we will confirm by email or phone so make sure you provide us with your contact information when you order
Admission: As this is a licensed pub, admission is for adults (19yrs +) only. Our
tickets cover admission before 7pm. If you arrive after 7pm you will be required to pay the Club's
cover charge of $8 per person.
June Pub Night

Tickets: $20 per person, available at our desk during our swim at Renfrew Pool. You
can also buy tickets from Skinnydipper staffers at all the other nude swims. If you can't make it to
a swim, call us at 604-484-7957 or send us an email at paul@skinnydipper.ca and we will make
arrangements for you to purchase.
